Newton is a 5 piece alternative rock band.
Their roots are their force. As a Belgian band, Newton is powerful no-nonsense music with a strong identity. Didier’s lyrics come with such ease that even unsung, they will feel like music to your ears. The songs (musically and lyrically) are open for personal interpretation. The latter being the overall aim of Newton.
Production and arrangements can be a source of inspiration but the musical spirit is clear: wanting the sound different! The vibe and the spirit are unique and don’t need any comparison.
‘Take Me To Your House’ is the first single of their debut album, which got airplay in Colombia, Mexico, Japan and the USA. The second single has been recorded during the summer together with producer Luuk 'Shameboy' Cox and got mastered by Mr. Frank Arkwright (The Smiths, Coldplay, Arcade Fire, ...) in the famous Abbey Road Studios in London. Newton is ready to tour Belgium and the world!
